Li Residence Addition

Collingwood, Vancouver

This is a second floor addition and interior/exterior renovations to a 5000 sq ft bungalow in Vancouver.
The exterior massing of the main and lower floors is retained. The concrete plinth supports a vertical metal clad form taking inspiration from Aalto and Deganello's 'Torso chair'. The main upper volume is a music room.
